Future Show Topic Suggestions
Let us know what topics you'd be interested in discussing/learning about in upcoming shows. Feel free to list any topics that interest you in the first column. If you'd be willing to co-host/facilitate the conversation, add your name and/or comments and select a proposed date/time.

If you have a "newbie question" you'd like answered, please post it. If you'd like to answer a newbie question and lead the discussion during the show, please add your name and email address. We'll be in touch with you.

Each show will have both a "topic" and a "newbie question". When suggesting topics or newbie questions of the week please complete the table below. It is not necessary to submit both a topic and newbie question of the week unless you feel inclined to so do. We will also be including a book/article/blog post known as the "Weekly Read" for discussion in each show. Feel free to suggest one you'd like to discuss and add your name as a facilitator for the conversation. (approximately 15 min.) (If a row is not available in the table for you to submit your information click in the last cell of the existing row and click the 'Tab' key on your keyboard to add a new row.)

We are interested in reaching out to a variety of time zones since we have participants from around the world, so if you'd like to co-host a show, propose a time that works for you and we'll work with you to try to make it happen. All sessions will be live webcasts on Elluminate and will be recorded/archived along with the chat log for access anytime/anywhere. We welcome your suggestions and your active participation. See you Saturday!

Cell phones in the classrooms
It is suggested that viewing students and cellphones as a problem in school settings is exactly opposite of fostering new approaches that can modify old stereotypes. How can these cellphones be turned into motivational teaching aids and tools that are teacher controlled and at what time of day? What about test taking activities using cellphones when students are away from campus where they are not disruptive? One interesting cell phone management solution can be seen at: http://www.rtestedu.com
New value can be found in the K12 student - parent - teacher cell phone connection.
