One student watched the activity with the testimony of a Holocaust survivor who recounts how people in her European hometown just before World War II treated Jews wearing the yellow star as if they were invisible. It occurred to the student that this is how she treats the homeless. She decided to make sandwiches and deliver them to homeless people in her community -- I love that story
